Quiet knot
A low, softly gathered knot with pearl drops — structure that looks accidental and holds for fourteen hours.

Vera wanted her back to be the most beautiful part of the photographs. We built a low knot with hidden support, leaving a few strands loose at the nape so the shape stayed human.
Her makeup stayed almost invisible: even skin, warm lids, no line. The jewellery — two pearl drops — became the only accent.
By the end of the evening the knot had loosened by exactly the amount we planned for.
